About the Project
September 3, 2016 was a day full of sunshine – a meaningful sign for bride and groom Erica and Mike, who exchanged vows that day in a very special place east of Ottawa.
Erica and Mike brought their families together at the Sundance Arbour to celebrate their commitment and their ancestors – including the revival of Algonquin and Cherokee wedding traditions.
Photographers in the past haven’t always given those traditions the respect they deserve. I feel honoured to have been there to witness.
